Kyusho Jitsu is not a stand alone art, rather it is a bolt on to make your base style more effective. We have schools which teach: Ju Jitsu, Karate and Arnis.
Ju Jitsu is a Japanese martial art and a method of close combat for defeating an armed and armored opponent. "Ju" can be translated to mean "gentle or yielding." "Jitsu" can be translated to mean "art" or "technique" and represents manipulating the opponent's force against himself.
Karate is a martial art developed on the Ryukyu Islands in what is now Okinawa, Japan. Kara - Empty, Te - Hand. Karate is now predominantly a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes and open hand techniques.
Modern Arnis explores the relationship between weapons and the empty hand. By learning the weapon first, the student has a better grasp of the principles of movement. Kinesthetic awareness is also increased due to the use of weapons, as empty hand techniques are introduced, the student will flow with greater agility and speed.
We are an association of like minded martial artists who seek to share knowledge for mutual benefit.
Our purpose is to raise standards within the martial arts. We hope that through your training you will become skilful, powerful and secure enough to be kind, considerate and peaceful. We are not looking to build a big association, we are aiming to cultivate a great association where martial artists and their clubs can share knowledge and resources.
Our main aim is to create a core group of clubs which will interact with one another to share ideas and help to improve the efficiency and standards of the sensei and students within those clubs
Whether it be those old enough to know better attempting character assassinations on social media or a schoolgoer getting grabbed and hit in the schoolyard, we offer strategies and techniques to counter the effects of bullying attempts. All our instructors are Bully Buster © certified. We are currently in the process of becoming a ISPCC Blue Shield association.
